FIFA U20 World Cup: Dominican Republic Unleash Barcelona Striker, 20 Others On Flying Eagles

Flying Eagles group opponents, Dominican Republic have released their 21-man squad that will participate in the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.

The ‘killer squad’ which arrived in Argentina on Tuesday have three goalkeepers, seven defenders, four midfielders and seven attackers among which are Spanish giants, Barcelona striker, Derek Cuevas and Leipzig of Germany forward, Oliver Schmidhauser. The team arrived in Argentina on Tuesday to start preparations ahead of their group D matches against Nigeria, Italy and Brazil.

Dominican Republic will open their 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup campaign with two times finalists, Nigeria on 21st May before taking on Italy and Brazil.

The Carribeans will settle in the capital city until Monday next week when they travel to Mendoza where they face Flying Eagles of Nigeria in the opening group match.
